John is a dramatic tenor from Dublin with a huge love of the arts, from singing and dancing to organising concerts and events. As a singer, John's specialises in opera from the classical era (especially Verdi and Puccini) as well as traditional Irish songs.
John gained an initial degree in Classics back in 2006 while also studying singing at a private school in Dublin. After graduating, John followed a passion for tango dancing and spent a year in Buenos Aires, training intensely and on return to Europe, John began teaching tango globally and organising events on an international level, notably in Berlin.
John had a dream to sing in opera and went on to further his singing studies in Bucharest from 2013-2016. He then achieved his dream in Greece where he had his lead role première as Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly and Flavio in Norma soon after. John took further training in Greece and worked with the Hellenic Opera Company, performing at multiple venues including sold-out shows at the prestigious Thessaloniki Concert Hall with over 1400 guests. Since then John has sung at numerous concerts and opera performances in the UK, Italy, Germany, Holland, Romania, Cyprus and Greece.
John has performed with companies such as Hellenic Opera (Greece) and Opera Classic Europa (Germany)

A firm believer that we should care more for the elderly in Ireland, John likes to give back where he can.
